The car spends two months of the summer in >25 <40 C weather on blacktop for 9 hours of every day while charging at L1 at work (temp bar 6/7 all summer). I expected to have more battery degradation than I have so far observed, based on the car sitting in the hot parking lot cooking away during the day. Every night it comes home to a cool shaded carport, with the timer set so that it charges just before I leave in the morning. I suspect this has helped to balance out the daytime heat.
