The first Tesla Roadsters were delivered to customers in 2008. These vehicles represent the largest body of high mileage electric vehicles to date. How are the battery packs holding up? How does energy capacity vary between vehicles? How much capacity loss is typical over time and distance driven? Do charging habits affect battery longevity? Do cars in hot or cold climates differ in battery health?
